Hobeaus Get 6th Straight Win with Late Rally
The Smoky Mountain Hobeaus topped the Pontiac Godfathers, 3-2, in USSL Single A action at Smokies Stadium. The game was highlighted by the performance of Smoky Mountain pitcher John Turner. The losing streak for Pontiac has now reached 4 games.

Smoky Mountain got a knockout punch from Jesús López. The third baseman hammered a solo home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.

"I tell our guys all the time, 'Every pitch is the right pitch if you put it in the right place, you believe in it and have conviction,'" Smoky Mountain manager Gianni Martin said.
