The Philadelphia Liberty U-24 topped the Pontiac Godfathers, 5-1, in USSL Single A action at Liberty Youth Field. The game was highlighted by the performance of Philadelphia pitcher Chad May. The Liberty U-24 now own a record of 36-37.

May was in the zone all game. He frustrated Pontiac hitters while giving the Liberty U-24 8 innings of quality work. May threw 90 pitches, allowing 4 hits and getting 5 punchouts.

"This kind of win will certainly make our fans happy," May told the Philadelphia Observer.
