Excitement reigned at Ballpark of Yucca Valley as Huntington Hermit Crabs hurler Tom Lollis tossed a baseball rarity -- a no-hitter.

After defeating the Yucca Valley Yellows, 1-0, he was swamped by reporters in the clubhouse for postgame comments.

"I'm just glad to be here," Lollis said. "Today I just went right at the Yellows as hard as I could, as long as I could."

Lollis, who leads the SA in complete games with 4, chalked up 5 strikeouts and allowed 1 walk in his superb performance.

"I don't think they could have stopped him with a howitzer today," said Huntington manager Vincent Cruz.

On the year, Lollis has compiled a 4-10 mark with a 5.12 ERA.
