Sosa Leads Reapers to 2-0 Win over Yinzers
|
Grim turned a good effort from starter Emílio Sosa into a win over the Monroeville Yinzers at Dragoons War Memorial Stadium. The final score was 2-0. Lau-po Cuan nailed down the save. Grim is 9th in the Silver A with a record of 29-48.
Sosa's performance can only be described as masterful. He notched 6 strikeouts in 7.2 innings while allowing 4 hits. Sosa, who is tied for 5th in the SA in complete games with 1, goes to 4-1 on the year with 39 strikeouts.
"For the most part, I made good pitches when I needed to," said Sosa.
