Reapers 7-3 Winners Versus Columbia
|
No one was more impactful than Allen Hale in the 7-3 Grim win over Columbia. Hale, who is tied for 8th in the SA in RBI with 35, went 1-4 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Mike Parkinson earned save number 13 this season. The last-place Reapers improved to 28-49.
Hale had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the seventh. On a full count fastball from Todd Garrett, he banged a 3-run home run to right-center, giving the Reapers a 4-2 lead. It was the 12th home run of the year for Hale.
"I was just going up there trying to see good pitches, that was about it," said Hale.
