The Holy City Herons got a superb performance from pitcher Martin Humphrey, but the Philadelphia Liberty U-24 still won the game, 3-2. Humphrey threw 7.0 innings of 2-hit ball. The setback makes Holy City 40-38.

The game was decided with one out in the bottom of the ninth. With Philadelphia trailing 2-1, Vincent Bordes hit a fastball from Mark Lee to right for a 2-run single. Just like that, the Liberty U-24 had a walk-off win.

"It's great when the crowd goes berserk," Bordes said.
