The Mancelona Torch beat the Monroeville Yinzers, 6-5, at Dragoons War Memorial Stadium. Luis Luttazi, who is tied for 9th in the SA in RBI with 34, starred for Mancelona. He was 1-3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. Jack Jones recorded the save, his 4th. The win gives the Torch a record of 26-54.
In the first inning, Luttazi had a 2-run home run for Mancelona. It was his 13th home run of the season and put the Torch on top, 2-0.
"We put a lot of pressure on ourselves," Luttazi told a Mancelona Bulletin reporter. "Sometimes we just need to relax."
