Reapers Lose 4-1 Decision to Holy City
A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Holy City Herons and Grim Reapers.

The Holy City Herons dealt the Grim Reapers a 4-1 loss at Mango Yard. José Castro was the star on offense. He went 3-3 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 runs. The setback makes Grim 29-52.

The Herons got a lift from center fielder Bob Rogers, who in the bottom of the second stroked a 0-1 changeup to center for a run-scoring single. It was his 75th hit of the season and put the Herons ahead, 1-0.

"Whenever we hold the other team to one run," said Herons manager Ralph Horn, "I like our chances."
