In a tight tilt between the Columbia River Rats and the Pontiac Godfathers, Luis Villarreal was the deciding factor. The Columbia right-hander spearheaded the 3-2 win. The save went to Cheng-gong Mok, number 1 for him. The victory gives the River Rats a record of 46-35.

Miguel Ortega hit a run-scoring double off Dan Caine in the bottom of the third, which put the River Rats in front, 3-2. In addition to the double, Ortega had 1 single, while going 2 for 4.
