Yellows Capture Close Win
The performance of Gary Benjamin proved critical in helping Yucca Valley beat Columbia, 5-4, in 10 innings. The Yellows left fielder went 3-5 with 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. The winning pitcher was Jesús Hernández. He tossed 149 pitches over 10 innings, allowing 4 runs on 14 hits. The Yellows now own a record of 34-48.

The Yellows got a clutch hit from second baseman Leo Murdoch. In the bottom of the tenth, he hit a run-scoring single to center, to win the game for the Yellows.
