Herons Get One-Run Win at Grand Forks
The Cocoon was the site of an exciting ballgame between the Holy City Herons and Grand Forks Caterpillars.

Though he had a terrific game, Shigenobu Miyazaki could not prevent his team, the Grand Forks Caterpillars, from absorbing a loss. Holy City won the game, 4-3. Miyazaki was 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. Getting the save was Aaron Valdivieso, his 4th.

Holy City used the timely hitting of Tanzan Murayama to seize the win. The second baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Herons on top, 4-3. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"We had the game right there for the taking," said Grand Forks manager Oriol Razo. "But we decided not to take it."

The setback makes Grand Forks 43-40.
