Dominant Performance by Grant in Yucca Valley Win
|
Delmarva had no answer for Yucca Valley Yellows hurler Bill Grant, who overwhelmed Gallos hitters as the Yellows coasted to victory, 6-1. The Yellows, at 36-48, sit in 8th place in the Silver A.
Delmarva could barely put a dent in Grant. The left-hander tossed 102 pitches over 8.2 innings for the Yellows, allowing only 5 hits.
"Bill gave us a heck of an effort," said Yucca Valley manager Ernest Orr.
