Herons Win 9-8 Walk-Off

Getting offensive support from Ryan Plaistowe, the Holy City Herons topped the Monroeville Yinzers, 9-8. Plaistowe was 2-5 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 5 runs and scored once for the Herons. The Herons go to 41-44, putting them 6th in the Silver A.
The game was decided with two out in the bottom of the 11th. With Holy City trailing 8-7, Plaistowe hit a fastball from Burton Goodman for a 2-run single. In the blink of an eye, the Herons had a walk-off win.
"Getting a lot of baserunners and getting some timely hits, it's a good combination," said Plaistowe.
