Mowat Goes on Rampage Against Yellows
|
All game long, Grim's Dan Mowat was rattling the walls at The Coffin and banging out base hits against the Yucca Valley Yellows. When the dust finally settled on the diamond, he had a 5-hit day and the Reapers had a win, 9-3.
Speaking with reporters after his standout performance, the 21-year-old left fielder said, "Get 5 hits, win a ballgame, it's nice. I could get used to this."
Dan Mowat singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, singled in the 5th and singled in the 8th.
This year, Mowat is batting .299 with 11 home runs.
