Yinzers Roll to 9-0 Win Over Caterpillars

Monroeville and Grand Forks got after it at Dragoons War Memorial Stadium.
The Monroeville Yinzers went home winners at Dragoons War Memorial Stadium, thanks in large part to starter Pete Costa. Costa stifled the Grand Forks Caterpillars, enabling Monroeville to grab the 9-0 win. The Yinzers raised their record to 32-56.
Reed Francis, the 5th overall pick in the 2056 draft, chipped in a 2-run home run for Monroeville in the bottom of the first. For the game, the right fielder had 2 hits in 5 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 2 RBI.
"Pete's stuff looked really, really crisp," said Jack Willis, the Yinzers manager.
