Bush Pilots Suffer 3-0 Road Loss
Delmarva picked up a win at The Cage, bumping off the Alaskan Bush Pilots, 3-0. Pitcher Walt Murray was a major reason the Gallos emerged victorious. Murray got the win, improving to 10-4. He gave up 5 hits and walked 0 over 6.2 innings. He allowed no runs. With the victory, the Gallos upped their record to 54-34.

Sam Allen had a big solo home run for the Gallos in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Delmarva leading 1-0 and the bases empty, he got a curveball from Whip Linkletter, who is tied for 4th in the SA in strikeouts with 106, and swatted a home run to left. It was his 17th home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Gallos ahead, 2-0.

"It takes a lot of things to win a ballgame," said Delmarva manager Félix Martínez. "It's usually not just one thing."
