Win Goes to Rogues in Tight Contest
The Newmarket Rogues locked up a win at Dragoons War Memorial Stadium, knocking off the Monroeville Yinzers, 6-2. On the mound for Newmarket was right-hander Don Alistair. He played a major role in the triumph. The Rogues now have a record of 49-39 with the win over Monroeville.

Who knows how it would've ended, had it not been for Steven Dean? The top prospect Dean stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put Newmarket up, 3-2. For the game, he was 2 for 4, including 1 double and 1 single.

"We put our best foot forward tonight," said a smiling Dean.
