Grand Forks Wins, 3-2, Over Hermit Crabs

Grand Forks registered a win at The Shell by beating the Huntington Hermit Crabs, 3-2. Pitcher Ryan Ward was one reason why the Caterpillars triumphed. With the win, Grand Forks pushed its record to 48-43.
Who knows how it would've ended, had it not been for Raúl Pérez? The 22-year old catcher Pérez stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the tenth inning to put Grand Forks up, 3-2. For the game, he was 3 for 4, including 1 double and 2 singles.
"It was a solid team effort," said Ward after the game.
