The Holy City Herons got a good effort from starter Jeremy Hull in defeating the Delmarva Gallos at Mango Yard. The final score was 5-1. The setback makes Delmarva 54-38.

Had Dewitt Kennedy not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 2nd, Kennedy hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 2-1, in favor of the Herons.

"It's the best feeling when you come through for your teammates," said Kennedy.
