Downward Spiral Continues for Holy City
|
The Pontiac Godfathers beat the Holy City Herons, 7-3, at Pontiac Copperdome. Henry Jans starred for Pontiac. He was 2-5 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. The 7th-place Herons have lost 10 straight games.
Hadde Wapperom drove in one run for Pontiac. With one out and the game tied in the bottom of the sixth inning, Wapperom had a clutch at-bat. Facing Holy City hurler Ismael Novian, he hit a sacrifice fly to give the Godfathers a 3-2 lead.
