The Grim Reapers used a great performance from 20-year old right-handed pitcher Otojiro Kozawa to beat the Grand Forks Caterpillars, 2-1, at The Coffin. Mike Parkinson earned his 17th save in 20 chances. Grim is now 36-59.

Grim took a 2-1 lead on Santiago Rodríguez's 5th double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Rodríguez hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Grand Forks pitcher Wayne Horne visibly frustrated.

"We squandered some opportunities," said Grand Forks manager Oriol Razo.
