Herons Deal Bush Pilots 6-5 Defeat
|
A 3-RBI performance from center fielder Scott Potter, who is rated as the 59th best prospect by BNN, led the Holy City Herons to a win over the Alaskan Bush Pilots, 6-5. Picking up the save was 22-year old right-handed pitcher Pete Johnson. By defeating Alaskan, the 7th-place Herons improved to 48-47.
Early in the game, Potter had a 2-run home run for Holy City. It was his 5th home run of the season and put the Herons on top, 2-0.
"Win or lose, we always try to grind it out and stay even-keeled," Potter said in reaction to the win.
