Allerdale's Strong Week Earns PL Trophy Monday, July 6th, 2037 At the age of 28, Doug Allerdale might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The Greenville catcher put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .500 batting average. For his efforts Allerdale collected the United States Premier League Player of the Week Award. He racked up 16 hits in 32 at-bats, 5 home runs and 14 RBIs last week in 7 games. This year Allerdale is batting .286 with 8 home runs and 28 RBIs. |
