Santos Has Hot Hand, Bangs 5 hits Friday, July 5th, 2041 José Santos exploded for a barrage of base hits today at Beyond the Wall. The Buffalo shortstop had a field day in the 15-3 triumph over the Chicago Silver Sox, finishing 5-for-5. "My hitting philosophy is simple," he said. "I focus on just seeing the ball and I try to get a good pitch." Santos must have focused at least 5 times and apparently got some good pitches, too, leading to one of his best days ever with the bat. José Santos hit an RBI single in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, singled in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and hit an RBI double in the 8th.
