Woodfinlevine Hits in 35 Straight Games Thursday, July 12th, 2035 The New Orleans Voodoo may have proven to be mere mortals today as they lost 8-3 to the Philadelphia 1776 BC, but Griffin Woodfinlevine continued to hit like a god. The right fielder collected 1 hit in 4 at-bats in the loss and extended his hitting streak to 35 games. "Woodfinlevine is playing great and is on fire right now," Voodoo manager Chase Sims said. "Hopefully his play can spark the rest of our team and help us pick up some wins." Woodfinlevine was apparently not happy with the game and when pressed by reporters in the locker room only said "nothing else matters but the loss." Griffin Woodfinlevine doubled in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th and struck out in the 7th. Woodfinlevine is hitting .371 so far this season with 29 RBIs and 27 runs scored.
