Northern Virginia Trades Scotton for Buffalo's Smythe Friday, January 9th, 2043 The Baseball News Network is reporting that Northern Virginia and Buffalo have agreed in principle to a swap that will send 23-year-old minor league RHP Bertrand Scotton and $2 in cash to the White Walkers with 28-year-old CF Tom Smythe joining the Rainbow Mermaids. Northern Virginia general manager David Lister would not confirm the trade, but a team representative close to the negotiations said the deal is official and is now only awaiting approval from the league. During his career Smythe has hit for a .292 average and totaled 379 hits, 48 home runs and 170 RBIs. |
