Hitting Streak Still Alive for Bustamante Wednesday, May 31st , 2051 Chalk up another one for Hollywood Shredders first baseman Miguel Bustamante. He now has hit in 20 straight games. Bustamante went 1-for-4 today's game at Beyond the Wall but saw his club defeated 4-2 by the host Buffalo White Walkers. "Playing on the road always makes it harder to get hits and to get wins," Shredders manager Bill Cheese said after the game. "We got one of the two, but unfortunately it was the wrong one." Miguel Bustamante grounded out in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, singled in the 6th and flied out in the 8th. So far this year in 24 games Bustamante is hitting .340 with 7 home runs, 11 RBIs and 17 runs scored. |
