Mockingbirds Muñóz Smacks 6 Hits Monday, June 13th, 2044 It was a parade of hits for Jorge Muñóz of the Mississippi Mockingbirds at Magnolia Park today. Connecting almost every time he went to the plate, Muñóz finished the day with a total of 6 hits in 9 at-bats. His strong individual effort propelled the Mockingbirds to a 6-5 victory. "Muñóz was really good and we were really bad," groaned Bullets manager Brandon Slouck. "Next time he's that hot, we'll just walk him." Jorge Muñóz singled in the 3rd, grounded out in the 4th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 9th, grounded out in the 11th, doubled in the 14th, grounded out in the 15th, singled in the 18th and hit an RBI double in the 19th.
