Lacasa Keeps Hit Streak Alive Saturday, July 5th, 2042 Lautaro Lacasa has been ripping hits every day for a while now, and nobody seems able to stop him. The Hollywood third baseman picked up 1 more today against the Northern Virginia Rainbow Mermaids and now has a 20-game hitting streak. The Shredders won the game 4-2. "Definitely somebody's going to stop me at some point," he said later, chuckling. "I'll enjoy it for the time being." Lautaro Lacasa flied out in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th, flied out in the 6th and grounded out in the 9th. For the season Lacasa has hit .346 with no home runs and 16 RBIs. He has played in 27 games and scored 24 times. |
