Charles Bather Hurt, Will Miss Rest of Year Sunday, July 30th , 2045 The season is ending on a bad note for Charles Bather, third baseman for the Mancelona Torch. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. Bather was hurt against the Cut Off Crawdads while colliding with a player at a base. He suffered a torn meniscus and will be out for at least 4-5 months. This year Bather is batting .206 with 14 hits, 2 home runs, 8 RBIs, 5 walks, .260 OBP and has scored 6 runs. |
