Grand Forks Beats Syracuse in 3L A Championship Tuesday, September 12th , 2045 It was a hard-fought battle for both teams to make it this far. But as the saying goes, "to the victors go the spoils." For the victorious Grand Forks Caterpillars, that meant the M3L Single A 3L A Championship trophy. The Caterpillars took a 3-1 victory over the Syracuse Storm at The Cocoon, winning their 2nd championship after taking the series 3-1. "We've got grit," said Caterpillars center fielder Alonso Romo, who was named MVP of the series. "We know how to win when we have to."
