Put-In-Bay Loses Gianlorenzo Albertini, Will Miss Season Saturday, May 22nd , 2049 The season is finished for Gianlorenzo Albertini of the Put-In-Bay Commodores. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Commodores reliever suffered shoulder inflammation while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Mancelona Torch. Team doctors said it would take at least 4-5 months to heal. Taking a look at this year, Gianlorenzo Albertini has made 5 relief appearances, recorded no saves and compiled a 0-0 won-lost mark and a 1.23 ERA. In pitching 7.1 innings, he has totaled 10 strikeouts and no walks. |
