May's Starter of the Month Goes to Cabael Wednesday, June 1st, 2039 There's something about a young rookie winning the M3L Single A Pitcher of the Month trophy that sends shock waves through the league. Such is the case with Carlos Cabael, a 21-year-old starter for the Tennessee Smokies. In May, he topped off the month with a 5-0 mark and 2.01 ERA in 5 starts, tossed 31.1 innings, fanned 17 and held opposing teams to a .233 average. |
