Jacobs of Philadelphia Crowned Best Player Monday, May 29th , 2062 It was announced today by the USSL Single A that Philadelphia right fielder Tony Jacobs had received the Player of the Week Trophy for his superlative play last week. The Philadelphia right fielder wreaked havoc on opposing pitchers, pounding them for a .438 average (7-for-16) with 2 home runs and 6 RBIs on his way to claiming the honor. To date this year, Jacobs is batting .291 with 3 home runs. |
