Niagara Falls Loses Vicente Sánchez, Will Miss Season
Wednesday, July 13th, 2039
Vicente Sánchez will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue. The first diagnosis was not too positive and indicated the Niagara Falls reliever could miss the remainder of the year. Sánchez was injured while throwing a pitch in the Expos-Torch clash at Torch Field recently. Doctors said he has a ruptured ulnar collateral ligament and would be out a minimum of 13 months.

Sánchez has earned no saves and a 0-1 mark this season with a 1.46 earned run average in 7 relief appearances. He has worked 12.1 innings, yielded 7 hits, struck out 7 batters and walked 7.
