Gutiérrez, Simmons Suspended for Fracas Sunday, June 17th , 2063 Baseball officials have suspended two players for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct" in yesterday's Yucca Valley-Lake Erie contest at Ballpark of Yucca Valley. The Yellows Emílio Gutiérrez and the Arryns Jesse Simmons will have to sit out 3 and 6 games respectively for their parts in the brawl. Thus far this year, Gutiérrez is batting .222 with 1 home run, 5 RBIs and 4 runs scored. To date this season, Simmons has compiled a 3-2 record with a 3.06 ERA in 8 starts. |
