Arnold Sutkamp Out for Season
Friday, August 12th, 2039
Grim reliever Arnold Sutkamp could miss the remainder of the season because of a torn labrum. He exited yesterday's Laredo game after injuring himself while throwing a pitch. The original diagnosis said Sutkamp would be out 6-7 months. Later on his doctors said he could be out even longer. "He's done," his manager commented at the BNN press conference. "It's a season-ending injury, but it could have been worse. It's not the worst-case scenario, so we're happy about that."

This season Sutkamp is 2-and-0 with no saves and a 1.31 ERA. He has given up 13 hits in 20.2 innings with 25 strikeouts.
