Star of the Week Named in SA Monday, July 3rd , 2062 This week USSL Single A pitching was a feast fit for a king and Salvador Sosa really made the most of it -- ripping them royally. The talented Grand Forks hitting machine produced a .412 batting average, 4 home runs, 7 hits in 17 at-bats, 8 RBIs and 5 runs. That kind of hitting earned him the SA Player of the Week honors. Thus far this season, Sosa is hitting .296 with 5 home runs, 10 RBIs and 10 runs scored. He has 21 hits in 71 at-bats and has played in 30 games. |
