Yang Wins SA Player of the Week Honors Monday, June 27th , 2061 It was announced today by the USSL Single A that Grand Forks center fielder Dou-guan Yang had received the Player of the Week Trophy for his superlative play last week. The Grand Forks center fielder wreaked havoc on opposing pitchers, pounding them for a .462 average (12-for-26) with 1 home run and 4 RBIs on his way to claiming the honor. Yang is hitting .274 so far this season with 14 RBIs and 18 runs scored. He has 37 hits including 6 home runs, 7 walks and .319 OBP. |
