Rey Captures SA Batter of Month Award Sunday, July 1st , 2063 Pedro Rey is not used to being associated with Batter of the Month-caliber players, but today the Holy City left fielder joined that select company when the USSL Single A announced the results of June's voting. Rey totaled 28 hits, 9 walks, 5 home runs, 12 RBIs and 17 runs scored last month to put together a .333 batting average and .411 on-base percentage. Thus far this year, Rey is batting .317 with 5 home runs, 19 RBIs and 32 runs scored. |
