Conner Wins SA Top Pitcher Award Sunday, July 1st , 2063 In June, the top-rated pitcher in the USSL Single A was a reliever. It's not a common occurrence, but it does happen occasionally. The Walla Walla Walleye fine hurler, Mark Conner stood out so much that he was picked the best Pitcher of the Month by the USSL Single A. The Walleye bullpen ace was brilliant with 5 saves in 12 relief appearances, a 2-0 won-lost mark and 1.16 ERA. He worked 23.1 innings, allowed 13 hits, struck out 19 and walked 4. He has made 19 relief appearances this year with 5 saves. Conner has achieved a 3-1 record while holding opposing hitters to a .175 batting average and posting a 1.73 ERA.
