Chiefs Win Tight Silver A Race Tuesday, September 6th, 2039 The owner of the Caldwell Chiefs was front and center in the Caldwell Chiefs clubhouse tonight. With the team having just clinched the Silver A, the owner came down to personally congratulate his players on the honor. "I know how hard they work every day for us, so it's hats-off to them," he said. "I know many owners probably prefer to stay up away from things, but I'm happy to celebrate this with these guys." Reliever Vasile Alexandrescu said after the franchise's 4th division title, he hopes they soon give the team's owner much more to celebrate. "We want to bring a championship back to Caldwell. The city and our fans deserve it," he said. A SL A Championship win would be the team's 1st USSL Single A championship. |
