Grand Forks's Turner Gets SA Player of the Week Monday, July 11th , 2061 It was an exceptional week for Dave Turner of the Grand Forks Caterpillars. First he beat the devil out of the ball, hitting .533 and as you would expect, he was voted the Player of the Week in the USSL Single A. Last week Turner went 8-for-15, notched 2 home runs and 2 RBIs and scored 4 runs. All in all, a very good week for him. This year, Turner is hitting .246, produced 8 RBIs and 3 home runs, scored 21 times and gotten on base at a .320 rate. |
