Johns: Big Hit in the USSL Single A Monday, July 16th , 2063 J.J. Johns made quite a splash in the USSL Single A this past week. The Grand Forks Caterpillars third baseman drilled opposing pitchers for 11 hits in 23 at-bats to roll up a .478 batting average and the USSL Single A Player of the Week Award. He also contributed 2 home runs, 8 RBIs and 5 runs scored to his club's offensive attack. This year, Johns is hitting at a .262 pace with 6 home runs and 19 RBIs.
