SA Star of the Week Chosen Monday, September 2nd , 2047 The USSL Single A has named its Top Player of the Week. The honor went to Freek Derksen, right fielder of the Huntington Hermit Crabs. In an extraordinary hitting display, he belted out hits at a .500 pace to win the award. Derksen went 8-for-16 for the week, totaled 2 home runs, 10 RBIs and scored 6 times. So far in 2047 Derksen is batting .237 with 26 home runs, 66 RBIs and 56 runs scored. He has 81 hits in 342 at-bats and a .338 OBP. |
