SA Announces Outstanding Batter Award Wednesday, August 1st , 2063 Caldwell Chiefs fans may just have witnessed a star player blossoming before their eyes in July. Rafael Fernández put up a remarkable month at the age of 21 and has been named the USSL Single A Batter of the Month. For the month, Fernández hit .361 with 9 home runs, 18 RBIs and 15 runs scored. Posting a .300 batting average to date, Fernández has 13 home runs and 35 RBIs. |
