SA Announces Outstanding Batter Award Monday, August 1st , 2061 Reed Francis has a lot going for him. The Monroeville center fielder just broke into the majors this year and now the USSL Single A has just picked him as its top hitter for July. In 23 games last month this outstanding rookie batted .408 with 4 home runs, 16 RBIs and 16 runs scored. For the season, Francis is batting .349 with 98 hits and 9 home runs. He has scored 38 times and batted in 33. |
