Dickey Fashions Shutout Against Generals
Wednesday, July 17th , 2058
A favor to his bullpen. That's what David Dickey was doing at Washington Park, as he blanked the Washington Generals, 6-0.
"I went out there to try to eat up innings and help out our bullpen," the Caldwell Chiefs right-hander said later. "I felt I had my good stuff, and it turned out my command was solid."
Dickey notched 7 strikeouts, surrendered no walks, allowed 6 hits, and kept the bullpen phone quiet all day long.
To date this year, in 12 starts, Dickey has crafted a 7-2 mark with a 1.82 ERA.
