Alameda-Grand Forks Fight Results in Suspensions Saturday, July 21st , 2057 Anastasio Martínez of Alameda and John Thomas of Grand Forks were the main participants in a recent bench-clearing brawl and today the league handed out its punishment. Martínez will have to miss 4 games for his part in the brawl, while Thomas was given 9 games. League officials announced their suspensions today. At the moment, Martínez is batting .195 with 2 home runs and 9 RBIs. He has played in 33 games and scored 10 times. To date this season, Thomas sports a 3-3 mark with a 3.63 ERA in 5 starting assignments. He has held the opposition to a .226 batting average and has 51 strikeouts in 57 innings. |
