Rea Tosses Shutout Against Yellows Thursday, August 2nd , 2063 The Yucca Valley Yellows met their match today in Caldwell hurler Luis Rea. He kept them guessing the whole game and spun a 2-hit shutout. "He just worked us over," Yucca Valley skipper Ernest Orr said. "He probably didn't even need a shower after the game -- he barely worked up a sweat." In the 4-0 victory, Rea whiffed 8 and gave up 2 walks. This year, Rea has a 8-2 mark in 15 starts with a 2.71 ERA. He has given up 104 hits in 113 innings, struck out 89 and issued 22 walks.
